SingFest is Australia's original aCappella choral festival held on Australia's Gold Coast every two years. The cream of Australia's choral groups, vocal bands, aCappela ensembles, quartets and school choirs, converge for a weekend of aCappella vocal harmony.
The program is based around a series of concerts by choirs and ensembles. Each group strives to entertain the audience and it's peers with a performance set approximately 20minutes in length. A single concert consists of 8-10 groups and the general public is invited to attend.
SingFest is a festival about singers and for singers so we focus on giving your group as many performance opportunities as possible
Groups who wish to perform must register. Registration in 2016 is by group not by individual. Workshops are booked as separate events at $40 per person and is separate to a group registration. There are casual performance opportunities outside of the concert series at the Chorditorium during the social activities.
